My methods are a little less conventional than most, but I receive positive feedback regarding the “razzle dazzle” I bring into our sessions. I’m a transparent therapist who understands & values the connection of the human experience. We’re all doing the best we can, with the resources currently available to us. While we’ll be predominately working from a Cognitive Behavioral approach, I will pull from a variety of modalities to best suit your individual needs. We’re a team on tackling new skills & strategies to improve the problematic areas you identify at the onset of therapy.
I’ve known I would be in this career field since I had the opportunity to be a conflict counselor in 3rd grade. Following that I volunteered for a trauma program throughout high school and in following years I’ve worked in group homes, with the foster care system, inpatient facilities, correctional institutions, & maintaining a private practice.
I practice from a collaborative approach. I will never know you better than you know you. You know what isn’t working for you, & why you’re here reading this right now.
