My job as a therapist is to provide you with a nurturing place where you can share your truth without fear of judgment. It is also my job to help you tap into your innate resiliency and strengths. I use a variety of techniques to meet therapeutic goals and tailor my approach to your specific needs. I work with all age groups-adults, teens, and children- and have several years experience working with the various issues that each stage of life can bring!
I specialize in treating women struggling with issues related to motherhood, including prenatal depression and postpartum depression/anxiety. Whether you are a new mom, a mom-to-be, or a mom of two or more, I can provide a safe place for you to explore the unique challenges of motherhood!
For my younger clients, I utilize Child-Centered Play Therapy. I help a child tap into their inner resiliency to develop a stronger sense of self-confidence by using their language: Play! I also have experience working with adolescents and the unique challenges this life phase can bring. My specialty also includes working with children of divorce.
