We are currently accepting private clients for individual grief support sessions. We offer a range of support topics including substance-use disorder loss, anticipatory grief related to illness, accident, and substance use, and disenfranchised loss related to murder, suicide, or substance use. In addition, we offer support for other types of loss that may not be recognized by traditional therapies, such as the loss of a pet, job, co-worker, or dear friend. Sessions are ongoing and are offered via phone or Zoom. For Individual sessions, we work on a sliding scale fee. For more information: hearthomeshealing.gmail.com
Hearthomes Healing was created to make space for the expression of grief within issue-focused sessions facilitated by Certified Grief Support Specialists, Certified Thanatologists, and Registered Nurses. Our goal is to help you normalize and assimilate your grief so that you can continue to grow, find hope, and ultimately find your way to a joyous life.
Hearthomes Healing recognizes and offers support for grief that might be described as disenfranchised. Unfortunately, disenfranchised grief is typically not recognized or supported. Murder, suicide, substance use-related losses, perinatal loss, loss of personality from dementia, loss of a body part, and pet loss are examples of disenfranchised losses.
