Hi, my name is Krista Walker, LCSW. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with nearly 20 years experience in this field. Starting therapy can be a scary and exciting experience. Together we will work to help you heal from challenging experiences develop new ways to cope with emotions, and discover the best version of yourself so you can thrive in all you do. You are the expert in your life. My goal is to help you heal, discover, and thrive. I look forward working with you.
My therapeutic style is more of a direct and non-judgmental conversation with humor when appropriate. The goal is to help you engage in the process change because the hardest part of change…is just getting started. I am available on weekends and evenings. We can meet in your home, in nature, and/or virtually, whatever is most comfortable for you.
As a therapist I will listen to you with an empathetic ear, help you heal, and develop the tools necessary so you can resolve the issues that bring you through the door.
