I come from a community mental health background. Therefore I have worked with many situations and people. I have also spent the last couple of years working in helping people who are in crisis resolve their problems and restore their hope. Often helping them to identify their strengths. I have worked with adolescents struggling with life events and self harming behaviors. Couples counseling, geriatric counseling, and a great deal with trauma and past abuse.
I can help because I meet people where they are. I am not here to pass judgement or to inflict my beliefs but to help clients to identify what is best for them. I am trained in EMDR and find that to be a valuable tool in restoring balance in cases of trauma and unresolved grief.
Life can be difficult. I have worked with people from many different social and economic backgrounds. We as humans are not immune to having life hand us things we struggle to cope with. Things that we are to embarrassed to talk to friends about or involve friends or family. Allow me to be that helper who supports and keeps your confidence.
