I provide creative care that celebrates all identities. I primarily work with emerging adults and teens 15+ to help navigate an exciting phase of life filled with new transitions and challenges. I am passionate about working with those who have experienced interpersonal trauma such as sexual assault, intimate partner violence, and human trafficking. While allowing you to take the lead on your therapeutic journey, I will support you through healing, self-discovery, and coping with distressing feelings and experiences. I am committed to considering the impact of identity, oppression, and societal systems on your concerns.
I incorporate creative movement, music, sound, drawing, writing, role-play, and other creative activities into my therapy sessions. I emphasize body-centered approaches that incorporate breathwork, somatic awareness, mindfulness, and movement. I also utilize more traditional talk therapy and evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
The therapeutic journey can be difficult work. It is my goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental environment where you can authentically explore yourself, solve problems, and feel heard and valued with my support. I believe that no one knows your experience better than you, so it is my job to help individuals discover what works best for them.
