After gathering thorough background information on each client, I help the client to develop an individual treatment plan specifically designed to meet their needs and goals. Through the course of therapy, self-understanding develops, leading to increased opportunities for meaningful interpersonal relationships and self-love. In turn, this positive growth allows for healthier life choices.
My treatment philosophy is based on cognitive behavioral therapy principles, and I believe that with support and empathic understanding, people can achieve positive and meaningful change in their lives. In a safe, nonjudgmental, and respectful therapeutic environment, I help people explore the emotional obstacles that obstruct their life path.
In therapy, I believe the relationship between patient and psychologist is the key to successful work together. I try to provide a safe, warm environment in which to work with my clients. It is my privilege to share in the lives of the people who come to me for therapy.
