I am a clinical social worker with seven years of specialized experience in helping clients with relationship and parenting issues, family conflicts, and trauma and abuse. I'm also a retired US Navy Veteran with 25 years of active service and was a licensed foster parent in Maryland and California. My therapy style is goal oriented, flexible and collaborative.
I have a Master's Degree in Social Work with a specialization in clinical work from the University of Maryland, Baltimore and was a Title IV-E Child Welfare Scholar as well as a Public Health Social Work Scholar while studying there. I am also a nationally certified provider of TF-CBT (Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) for adolescent PTSD.
