Hello, my name is Jordan K. Harmon, and I am owner, clinical director, and practitioner at Harmon Psychotherapy & Consulting. I provide treatment for chronic suicidality and self-harm, trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship struggles. I've been intensively trained in many modalities, including ACT and EMDR and am board-certified in DBT. More important than the treatment method acronyms is that you feel deeply heard and that treatment works for you. It's important for me to utilize evidence-based principles while getting feedback about what is working for you and adjust as needed.
For some people it's easy to go to therapy but hard to get unstuck from complex life patterns. For some it is difficult to go to therapy and trust a stranger with deep pain. DBT Skills Class
DBT (DBT) is a highly specialized and evidence-supported model created for the treatment of borderline personality disorder and other complex problems that include emotional dysregulation as a core feature. Our DBT Skills Class is one component of full DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy). The other component is individual therapy with an intensively trained DBT therapist. In order to enroll in our class, client must be committed to working with an individual DBT therapist on a weekly basis. Our DBT Skills Classes are closed groups of no more than 17 people.
