Hi there! As a Resident in Counseling, I provide services to adolescents, adults, couples, and families and specialize in the treatment of anxiety, depression, burnout, grief, trauma, marriage and relationship conflicts. I believe that therapy looks different for every person and that there is no "one size fits all" approach. I always aim to provide a welcoming space where you can feel safe and comfortable while you go through your own journey of growth and healing.
I like to use techniques from multiple modalities to best meet your goals. This may look like using cognitive-behavioral techniques to explore the connection between your thoughts and behaviors while paying attention to the importance of your emotions and how affect you holistically.
Taking the first step into therapy can be a scary and overwhelming process for anyone. Even if this isn't your first therapy rodeo, meeting with a new therapist can be daunting. I strive to create a space for you where you feel comfortable to express yourself as you work towards your own goals for therapy. I look forward to working together!
