As an Asian-American gay man who grew up in the US South, I knew from a young age that I lived in a world that did not offer me freedom to author my narrative. Thus, I am passionate about building critical consciousness, self-awareness, and self-confidence to counteract oppression and live in the world with empowerment and authenticity. I am privileged and honored to use my experience to heal any client who has ever felt marginalized, outcasted, or misunderstood simply for "not fitting into boxes." I primarily work from a psychodynamic lens by focusing on giving you the insight to identify how your past traumas may have created false, limiting beliefs that fuel the triggers, destructive emotions, and maladaptive behaviors impacting your present. I specialize in marginalized identities, LGBTQ populations, spirituality, and redefining masculinity.
