I have wanted to work as a therapist with children since I was 13 years old. Even after working as a licensed therapist for over 7 years, this passion has remained. I've worked with many children dealing with issues related to anxiety, ADHD, mood disorders, and difficulties at home, school, and with peers. My hope is that if I can help a child work through these issues while they're still young, they can take these tools with them and maybe life won't have to be so hard as they get older.
I enjoy working with children ages 3-12. I also find it beneficial to involve parents and caregivers when appropriate so that they can support their child outside of my office. My typical treatment styles include individual therapy, PCIT, and/or play therapy.
I know that beginning therapy can feel overwhelming. I always start with a free consultation to meet so that I can answer any questions you or your child may have and for you to see if I may be a good fit as your child's therapist.
