Welcome! I am so glad you have gathered the courage to begin YOUR healing journey. We all go through seasons that feel heavier and anxiety-ridden and it takes bravery to seek out help from a professional. My role as a counselor is to come alongside you and figure out ways we can obtain the quality of life you deserve. My experience includes working with populations such as adolescents, adults, couples, and veterans! More specifically, I have experience with clients who present with anxiety and depression as well as history with trauma. Additionally, I really enjoy working with couples using the Gottman Method.
I take an inviting, reflective approach to people’s problems, and encourage you to learn more about this kind of therapy I practice. My approach is derived from Reality and Cognitive-Behavioral therapy. I also use techniques from Client-Centered and Brief Solution-Focused therapy as well. These are well established, researched, and respected therapies.
