The therapeutic relationship is one of the most important tools for enabling life changes. I see counseling as a collaborative relationship between myself & each client. I apply developmental & attachment theory to help you understand the important relationships & attachments in your life, which impact who you become. By processing these complex relationships & attachments, we can work towards identifying patterns & forming new ways of thinking & coping. I specialize in trauma, depression, & anxiety. I serve adolescents, young adults, & adults of all races, genders, & sexual orientations.
I support clients using a person-centered approach focusing on strengths, individuality, & personal growth to effectively manage self-harming behaviors, and address the physical storage of emotions in the body, low self-esteem/confidence, and negative self-image. I also supported clients who are exploring & processing their gender and sexual identities.
Starting your counseling journey can be intimidating and scary. Deciding to open up to a stranger takes courage. My mission is to create a space where you feel safe exploring & processing complex personal experiences & mental health challenges that cause distress. My promise to you is to be genuine & transparent about the therapeutic process.
