Hi there! I provide services to the Bowling Green community and surrounding areas. Most individuals seek psychological services when they are emotionally distressed. Psychotherapy is beneficial to individuals experiencing both low levels of emotional discomfort and more severe, chronic discomfort. I believe that any individual, no matter the severity of concern, can benefit from therapy. My personal style is warm and empathic, while also being solution-focused. I operate mainly from a Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) background, and I also incorporate strategies from other approaches.
My goal is to help clients understand and cope with their mental health concerns by guiding them through the cognitive model. I aim to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thinking patterns, which can lead to unpleasant emotional experiences and behavioral reactions. Overall, I hope to provide a healing atmosphere to all clients.
In addition to psychotherapy, I also perform various psychological evaluations (i.e., intelligence, achievement, ADHD, learning disability, personality evaluations).
