Are you in a tough spot or struggling? No matter what you are going through, therapy is a valuable place to get support, work towards making a change, and create a better understanding of oneself. I believe that therapy can be a beneficial experience for anyone as it provides a safe space to process feelings/stressors and to be heard and understood. My approach to therapy is grounded in relational theory - focusing on the therapeutic connection between an individual and their therapist - as this is one of the best predictors of progress and improvement over the course of therapy.
My objective is to support you in identifying your goals and to work together to help you cope with your feelings/stressors. I also integrate attachment theory, strengths-based approach, mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and other psychodynamic theories into our work together.
Having the space in therapy to be heard and understood is necessary in the process of making positive changes in one's life. I specialize in working with building self understanding and acceptance, especially through major transitional moments (e.g. parenthood, retirement).
