I believe we all need help from time to time, and I believe that often times the strengths lie within those whom seek and accept help. I know we all have strengths and capabilities to overcome our personal, family, and community challenges and struggles which we face in our daily lives. I also believe therapy helps people discover the strengths they have within themselves and, as they apply the suggestions and teachings while utilizing recommended community resources, through therapy life becomes bearable.
I have been trained on various therapeutic approaches such as CBT, Solution-Focused, Gestalt, and DBT. I try not to limit myself in issues that I focus on when it comes to treatment however, Addictions, Personalities Disorders, Anxiety, Depression, Anger Management, Self esteem, and Relationships issues are my primary focus of treatment.
I moved to the U.S. from Kenya in 2001, and I graduated from Brigham Young University with my Masters in Clinical Social Work in 2009, after which, I moved to Las Vegas. I thrive when helping people in various situations and challenges. As the saying goes, “No man is an island”.
