I work with individuals to find those qualities and strengthen the ones we want to stay around. Therapy Foundations that I love to use in session: Emotional Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and Play and Art Therapy. Books I base therapy from: The Dance of Anger, Adult Children of Dysfunctional Families, Health at Every Size, The Highly Sensitive Person, How to Keep House While Drowning (and so many more!).
In therapy with me, you will find psychoeducation on your brain, figuring out what you need and want, support with boundaries in your relationships, concrete skills that you can use, and re-parenting your inner child. Most importantly, you will find that you are a lovable human being with lots of awesome traits and that you belong in this world.
