I work with individuals across the lifespan, with a special focus on emerging adults. I work with individuals with personality disorders, significant anxiety, and body image issues, and I work to reduce stigma and shame around these topics. I also have experience working with individuals and families whose lives have been touched by addiction, especially family members and friends of those with substance use disorders. I take a directive and empathic approach, and together, we will identify and remove barriers so you can live a radically genuine life.
I have specialized training in dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and exposure and response prevention (ERP). I cater my approach to your needs and presenting concerns. I am licensed in IL and credentialed through PSYPACT, allowing me to offer telehealth services across state lines.
Many patients I have worked with often come to therapy feeling burnt out by a lack of progress.
