I work with individuals across the lifespan who have experienced trauma, anxiety, depression, or just need a new perspective. Utilizing a person-centered approach allows clients to share their story. I want to help provide the space for my clients to process and identify maladaptive ways of coping or thinking to help them live life to the fullest. Change can be scary, especially when dealing with mental health issues. Using a relational approach allows the client to build a relationship with me so that they can feel comfortable and be themselves.
Trauma can be messy and take over our way of thinking. I want to provide a space for clients to process their trauma in a safe environment. Relational therapy examines past relationships and how they affect our current relationships, leading us to relate to others in unhelpful ways.
Let's face it, life is messy. As your therapist, I will be your sounding board. I provide an open environment where any topic is welcome. Some weeks, we will be laughing, and some weeks, we might need to grab a tissue and confront the mess. Let me accompany you on this journey. It would be an honor to be a part of your healing journey.
