Trauma is one of those things that comes in all shapes and sizes. It can be one specific event or occur over a long period of time. The effects of unresolved trauma can wreak havoc on your life if it isn't processed, and you might be noticing that happening now. I began my counseling experience with survivors of sexual assault, which became a passion and specialty for me. To better tackle all types of trauma, I completed training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I also received my education from a faith-based program, which equipped me for Christian counseling - another specialty of mine.
My goal is to establish a safe and secure environment for every client. I aim to offer empathy and encouragement, while fostering strength in each person.
