While I have a background in helping Domesstic Violence & Sexual Assault survivors, I also work well with members of the LGBTQIA+ community, individuals with religious trauma and adolescents of multicultural background. My ideal client is the ones who feel as if they don’t fit in, or want others to accept them for who they are. If you understand, “We are the weirdos, Mister.” Then I’m the perfect counselor for you!
I firmly believe in meeting clients where they’re at. I believe in diversity and equity. I also know what it is to struggle with mental health. I know what it means to check all the boxes that fit outside of the norm. I want to offer clients the chance to be confident in who they are at their core, and see them through their journeys.
I believe in allowing the client to have the space to be who they are freely without judgement while exploring who they want to be. I want to help those who always bend over backwards to help others. Those who feel as if they’re just one helping hand away from being everything they want to be, or feel as if they may never get there. I can be that space.
