Yes, we laugh in therapy, because healing can be both transformative and fun. I am committed to providing authentic, inclusive and culturally sensitive therapy to Latinx adults, neurodiverse identifying adults, and women navigating intense emotions and intrusive thoughts. I create a space to process trauma, navigate challenging emotions, and build resilience. With a focus on setting healthy boundaries, improving communication skills, and managing intrusive thoughts, I help cultivate self-awareness, build in I help clients cultivate self-awareness, build insight and develop coping strategies to thrive in their daily lives.
I offer a practical, balanced approach. I draw from various therapeutic modalities including Psychodynamic, CBT and DBT. With a strengths-based approach, I empower my clients to build confidence, learn new skills, and foster meaningful connections. I use a humanistic trauma-informed lens towards treatment planning for unbiased, inclusive and affirming care.
As a late-diagnosed neurodiverse, first-gen Cuban-American, my lived experience provides a unique perspective as a therapist. Having firsthand experience with trauma and chronic illness, I can relate to the challenges of those who feel misunderstood or dismissed. I strive to build a collaborative partnership with each client to foster growth and healing.
