We have immediate openings for couples counseling, family therapy, individual therapy, and parent coaching. I am an expert in attachment trauma and use this frame to address parenting challenges and fractured families. I love working with couples and use Crucible & Gottman frames to address issues with intimacy and communication. I am also an expert in the diagnosis and treatment of personality disorders. I work with my clients to understand what lead to their challenges, and create a plan to address their unique needs. I use Mentalization Based Therapy techniques in addition to other modalities for treatment.
Mentalization Based Therapy allows clients to become more adaptive in the ways they relate to their loved ones, friends, and others, and the ways they navigate distress. This modality is evidenced based and one of the gold standard treatments for personality disorders. I currently offer supervision and consultation for new & existing therapists.
I believe in reparative experiences, and practice patience and empathy. Committing to changing yourself is not easy, but I partner with patients to make this change possible. Per the ethos of social work, I always provide a judgement-free and mutually respectful space. The therapeutic rapport relies on epistemic trust, something I build with every client.
