LET'S TALK. Ever since psychotherapy (the talking cure) was conceived over 100 years ago it has grown and evolved. But one thing remains constant: talking with someone about the things that bother you, in a safe and empathic environment is curative. It is the first step to changing the way you think, feel and act. In more than 20 years of practice, I have studied and mastered various techniques of psychotherapy (cognitive behavioral, relational, psychodynamic) and will utilize these in our work together.
I have helped people with anxiety, depression, PTSD and other mood disorders, as well as parenting and relationship issues. I enjoy helping people cope with difficult life transitions, i.e., loss, parenting, career changes and the like. I work with adolescents and adults in individual and/or couples and family treatment.
