Gurusher has been a therapist in Northern Virginia for over 25 years and has extensive experience helping her clients to improve emotional health and well being. Her modality is working with individual adults on emotional adjustment, stress, family, work and relationship concerns, life transitions and perinatal/postpartum adjustment. She has specialized understanding of the gifted population and possible impacts on adult life. She is committed to the well being of her clients and dedicates time, planning and thoughtfulness to assist clients with their goals.
In therapy sessions we discuss the client's present circumstances and difficulties and collaborate to discover new options, and insights for resolving issues. Utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy, we follow patterns of thoughts, feeling and behaviors to energize motivation and problem solving. Sessions are provided through teletherapy.
