Social Skills for Children
Children are experiencing social issues due to the impact of the Covid pademic. Within group therapy, children will learn social skills, how to interact appropriately with others, how to make friends, how to deal with rejection, how to read facial expressions, how to set boundaries, and other meaningful aspects to help them develop socially. Children will role play specific circumstances, talk, problem solve and learn how to reduce social anxies. The group will learn, relaxation techniques, breahting techniques, and other coping skill. Cognitive therapy will be taught to help the children learn to think in a healthy manner.
