Sometimes we can suffer in ways which are profound and overwhelming, while also difficult to articulate. Naturally, we want to understand what we are feeling and why. We want things to make sense, and wanting this makes sense! Other times we can say exactly what it is which inhibits us — and there is a rich vocabulary for psychological suffering.
Anxiety, depression, grief and loss, a life transition, conflicts in our relationships, powerful emotions, destructive behaviors, addiction, dissociation, a lack of purpose, et cetera.
