I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) clinical social worker with approximately ten years experience providing mental health services to children and families. I have worked with a wide range of families with a wide range of strengths and challenges. Much of my experience has been focused on assisting children, teenagers and families recover from traumatic experiences. I also feel that I can be helpful to those dealing with depression and anxiety.
I am rostered in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and have also provided Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT) for over five years. Currently, I am very excited to be providing CPT. I also have experience teaching Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to teenagers with behaviors such as self harm, suicidal ideation, depression and anxiety.
