I am a physician licensed to practice medicine in New York. I am board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary disease and critical care; I also completed a year of psychiatry training, and a year long fellowship in the field of psychedelic therapy, becoming, a certified Psychedelic Assisted Therapy Provider. I am keenly interested in PTSD, as it relates to depression, anxiety, and substance abuse. I am also experienced in helping patients with cancer and other terminal illness come to terms with what they are facing.
I provide medical clearance for ketamine assisted psychotherapy (KAP) for individuals who are working with a therapist who provides KAP, I also offer KAP myself, as a part of my own practice. I also provide NYS medical cannabis certification for individuals who seek symptomatic relief from PTSD.
I grew up as an adopted person and I have faced trauma, attachment issues, and addiction (with over 30 years of recovery) in my personal life; my life has been changed by the experience of therapy. I honor you for reaching out for help. I have been there.
