I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (P1608105) with the state of Arkansas. Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked in the field as a case manager assisting clients to meet their therapeutic goals set by their assigned therapist and linking them to needed services. I have always believed that the only way we can evoke any type of changes within our lives is to acknowledge them and place those issues on the table in order to fully address them. As one begins to mold and change their way of thinking (irrational thoughts), their behaviors begin change as well.
Life comes with many twist and turns and even many bumps in the road. Our experience over the years in mental health has enabled us to offer effective outpatient, individualized mental health treatment. We treat a number of mental health disorders, and provide a neutral ground to individuals, and families.
I love to meet each client where they are and begin to build on identified strengths throughout the counseling process. I am very interactive with clients and assist in providing insight and support. The approach that I love to use most is cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). It's not the pace of your progress...All I ask is that you keep going!
