Greater Atlanta Family Counseling is a generalist mental health practice that works with a broad range of behavioral health issues, including depression, anxiety, marriage and family issues, stress management, diagnostic evaluations, PTSD, forensic services, and mediation. We begin seeing clients for therapy at four years old. We do offer psychiatric services for adults, and as of July 2023, have extended our practice to include ABA services for behavior modification therapy. We consider it a privilege to serve our communities, and we would be honored to discuss your case with you.
Founded in 2016, our practice currently has offices in Decatur, Marietta, Lawrenceville, Conyers, a satellite office in Athens, and the ability to treat clients across Georgia via telehealth. We accept all commercial health insurance, Medicaid, PeachCare for Kids, and Managed Medicaid.
Our scope of practice is for clients whose symptoms or issues would be classified in the mild-moderate range. Because we are usually only able to see clients for about an hour a week, we maintain a referral network of exceptional providers for clients where safety or stabilization is a priority and who demonstrate a need for a higher level of care.
