Hello, I'm Grant. I have been a therapist for many years and have learned one thing: life can be difficult but with the right perspectives and skills and a willingness to try them things are very likely to get better. There are no magic paths, but I believe there is always a path toward less suffering and greater wellbeing. I work with people who struggle with depression, anxiety, emotional intensity and instability, OCD, and high stress. The people I enjoy the most are those who are willing to receive support and to start making changes.
Changing the way, you see things and what you are doing will almost always lead to greater happiness and meaning. Helping people to change perspective and behavior patterns are the fastest way to bring about real and helpful change.
My goal for the first session is to get an understanding of what has been happening for you and to give you an idea of what I think will be helpful. I so often find that people who come in for therapy have been stuck for so long that they are ready to understand what is happening and what they can do.
