My variety of life experiences have helped me to have compassion and empathy for those who are hurting. I believe that human connection and the ability to build a strong therapeutic bond are the heart of a successful counseling experience. It is my belief that every person has a purpose, so my treatment philosophy is to create a safe space for clients to heal as they pursue their purpose while improving their quality of life and relationships.
I incorporate several counseling theories and methods such as experiential, cognitive-behavioral, and person-centered approaches to treat a variety of issues including but not limited to depression, anxiety, grief, anger, and trauma-related issues.
