As a faith-based counselor with Gottman Method training, I have 10 years of experience working with couples. I also help individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, and pornography addiction. I would be honored to walk with you on your jouney toward relational healing and better mental health (Psalm 147:3).
I lead marriage groups for couples needing a "tune-up" using materials from Les & Leslie Parrott. I also work with couples in crisis using research-based Gottman Therapy techniques to assess problems and build skills around communication, conflict and increased intimacy. Because of my Christian faith, I use these skills in a Biblical context.

Groups
Marriage Enrichment
Marriage enrichment groups consist of 4 or 5 couples who work through a book and workbook from Les and Leslie Parrott over eight sessions. The workbooks provide "homework" for the couples to discuss with their spouse issues such as in-law problems, communication, and sex. The group setting gives opportunities to share with, give feedback to and encourage other couples. The group also provides an incentive to do the homework. These groups are a fun way to build skills that fortify a struggling marriage or improve a mediocre relationship.
