I am a licensed clinical social worker with several years of experience and diverse practice in the field of mental health. I provide psychotherapy to individuals with a trauma focus lens and with culturally/racially sensitive insight. I hold a master's degree in Social Work from New York University, along with numerous specialized training in the field of trauma, child abuse, and forensic interviews. I have specialized expertise with providing support and counseling to survivors of crime ranging from homicide, child abuse, intimate partner violence, and sexual violence.
As an Asian American woman of color, I know the difficulties of finding a therapist who understand the complex ways in which one's intersecting identities impact their sense of self and navigation through the world. I strive to provide culturally and racially sensitive therapeutic interventions, while approaching clients with sincere respect and curiosity.
Most importantly, I aim to collaboratively create a safe therapeutic relationship honoring all parts of a client’s identity. I am committed to deepening my own anti-racism practices to continue serving the needs of diverse clients. It would be a great privilege to walk along with you in your journey.
