I can be most helpful to you if you are interested in growing yourself and your own potential for intimacy and sexuality. Instead of identifying what's "wrong" with you, I focus on your strengths. By balancing your desire for autonomy and your desire for connection, you can increase your capacity for desire and eroticism in intimate sexuality. As an active therapist, I'm willing to challenge you and your partner to develop and grow yourself up.
I have been practicing couples and sex therapy for 25+ years. I have studied and trained with Dr. David Schnarch (author of Passionate Marriage) for 20+ years. I have extensive training in resolving "the common cold of marriage" - desire discrepancy as well as problems or changes in sexual functioning.
I provide an alternative perspective on intimate sexuality. Many young and older people base their sexual knowledge, behavior and expectations on pornography and romantic fantasies. This often creates discomfort and high anxiety. Instead, I can help you and your partner create a richer and more fulfilling sexual life.
