As a licensed master's clinical social worker, I offer therapy in a non-judgmental, safe and confidential environment. I provide a space where individuals feel comfortable sharing their concerns so that we can work together to gain insight on life's stresses and struggles. I collaborate with the client to develop effective coping mechanisms, process through current and past life experiences, to accomplish personal goals. My clinical background includes treatment with individuals, related to anxiety, depression, life transitions, anger management, grief and loss concerns. I believe therapy can be a tool to help move clients toward a more balanced life.
My area of practice is adults,as well as adolescents,with a primary focus on trauma, grief and loss. I have in-depth expertise working with veterans, and military families who are experiencing loss, adjustment issues and/or family conflict. I have a thorough understanding of trauma and its affect on the individual.
While understanding the influence of one's past on today's behavior is very important to personal growth. I find it additionally advantageous to assist you in developing an action-plan focused on your current challenges and concerns. I look forward to working with you.
