Creating a safe, warm, encouraging therapeutic environment where clients can be their full selves, embrace progress over perfection, and build self-compassion and acceptance are some of my goals as a therapist. I believe my clients are the experts of their own experiences and allow their knowledge to guide and shape our work together. My therapeutic interests include anxiety disorders including body-focused repetitive behaviors (BFRBs), such as hair pulling and skin picking, perfectionism, and OCD, sensory regulation, ADHD, depression, and grief. I work with kids, teens, and adults, and especially enjoy working with creatives.
My eclectic approach is personalized to my clients' unique needs and includes mindfulness and strengths-based methods, expressive arts techniques, communication skills, and other structured cognitive behavioral tools. I want to help you build onto your own tool box of strategies to navigate unknowns and challenge unwanted behaviors.
