You are welcome here. Alder Wellness & Counseling, PLLC is named for the alder tree, a tree native to the Pacific Northwest known for its strength and balance, bridging and grounding. Often, our sense of well-being relies on finding balance in our lives. Emotional health is closely linked with physical and spiritual health. Sometimes, our well-being is thrown out of balance because of traumatic events, whether recent or from long ago. My goal is to help you find balance in your life in an individualized and holistic way.
I provide individual counseling, using a combination of therapies, including talk therapy, DBT, and EMDR. My passion is helping adults discover their personal strengths and develop their own toolbox of skills and strategies for managing life’s joys and struggles. My specialized training is in addiction and trauma.
I am here to help you discover your strengths so you can find balance and feel grounded in your daily life. You are a unique individual and I will help you with a personalized plan for reaching your goals. My practice is sex-positive and affirming of all gender identities, sexual orientations, and relationship models.
