Hello - My name is Dr. Glenda Clare. I am licensed in mental health and addictions counseling. I work with individuals, families and groups to achieve mental wellness. Let's work together to figure out strategies that are appropriate for you. Think Possibilities!
Partnership is key - I’m nonjudgmental and here to create a safe space as I lend a helping hand. I will partner with you to figure out what’s working well and what needs some adjustment. I use motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed, solution-focused practices to help you explore strategies that fit your unique needs.
When I’m not working, I enjoy good conversation, vegetable gardening and riding my bike. There is so much therapeutic value in watching movies and reading, two of my favorite things, Know that I sometimes give homework assignments that involve movies and books. So much can be learned through witnessing the experiences of others via books and movies.
