My approach pulls from several theories including client centered, strength based and a holistic perspective, focusing on the relationship between mind, body and spirit. I have experience providing services to those who have struggles with a variety of mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship problems and stress management.
I am particularly passionate about integrating mindfulness-based interventions, yoga informed psychotherapy and Somatic Experiencing for trauma into my clinical work . Having immigrated from India, I recognize the challenges faced during life transitions. I appreciate the opportunity to work with you towards restoring hope and building a meaningful life.
