Hi! I’m Giselle (they/she/he). I’m a clinical psychologist specializing in trans/queer mental health (including gender-affirming hormone and surgery letters) and sex therapy for folks across the lifespan (children, adolescents, and adults). Throughout my career, I’ve oriented my work toward serving trans and queer community. I completed a postdoc in LGBT mental health and worked as a gender specialist at the San Francisco VA and at Kaiser Permanente. I currently am a gender specialist for UCSF's Child and Adolescent Gender Clinic.
I specialize in gender-affirming therapy and sex therapy for trans, queer, poly, and kinky folks. My sex therapy is also oriented toward trans children and adolescents who are medically transitioning and have concerns about sex and sexuality.
Therapy with me is relational. I take a non-pathologizing approach and I center anti-oppression and decolonization as values within my work. I provide a safe space for intersections between transness, neurodivergence, and chronic illness. Schedule a free consultation with me to learn more!
