I have had the opportunity to work with so many adults throughout the past years. I believe that psychotherapy is most effective when seen as a partnership between therapist and client. As in any relationship, respect and commmunication are key to moving forward and reaching personal goals. I work with clients to help raise awareness of there resilience and their strengths. This sets the stage for changing patterns that have not served them well in their lives. I am also available for consultation. Consultation fees are negotiable.
Trauma Work is a specialty for me. I regularly attend presentations offering the latest research based methods to diminish the impact of a person's trauma. I have presented at trainings on the topic of Adult Children of Alcoholics and have had years of treating both ACOA's and Alcoholism.
I have worked with many different populations from city and suburb to military members and their dependents. I enjoy my work and I feel my experience allows for a wide range of treatment options to help people move forward.
