Offering telehealth for PA clients-I have been a licensed professional counselor and couple and family therapist for over 20 years. I work with adults who are struggling with areas related to anxiety, relationships, work, parenting, life transitions and shame and guilt.
The client-therapist rapport is the essential foundation of counseling. My therapeutic style is authentic and genuine. I am direct without judgment. I am present with my clients and value my role as an objective witness to their stories. I am interactive with clients, but also know when clients simply need to be heard.
I believe therapy should be a collaborative process and one that requires the ability to self-reflect and to do the "deep-dive" work in between sessions as well as to be intentional with making changes.
