To me, counseling is about management; management of relationships with others, the relationship you have with yourself, management of anxiety and everyday stressors. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I incorporate a variety of treatment modalities including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Mindfulness and Motivational Interviewing. However, I take an eclectic approach to understanding each individual client by utilizing Adlerian Theory in addition to CBT. I also believe that physical health has strong implications for mental health and it is important to treat both.
I specialize in anxiety, ADHD, depression and pregnancy/prenatal/postpartum, in addition to a variety of other challenges. Regardless of the issue, my goal is for you to leave your therapy session feeling a sense of relief and hope.
