I enjoy working with individuals to create better, more satisfying relationships with themselves and all others. I typically help clients to see the big picture and to gain more compassion, confidence, understanding, and successful coping skills. Most clients experience a significant reduction in anxiety, depression, anger, and other distressing emotions. I am comfortable helping clients work through traumatic events past or present. I have an eclectic, humanistic approach, utilizing EMDR and other methods. EMDR is a clinical treatment that has successfully helped many people relieve many types of psychological distress and trauma. Most clients are able to achieve their therapy goals and most report significant improvement and greater overall well-being.
Clients have the choice of one or two hour sessions. The longer sessions give clients the opportunity to address issues in greater depth. Many clients report feeling more relaxed, knowing they have enough time to explore their concerns and work through them in a supportive environment.
