A warm hello and welcome to my practice. As a licensed clinical social worker, I provide services primarily to adults ages 18 and up. My specialty areas include: being a parent to a child with special needs, single parenthood (by preference, divorce, loss or other), the impact of cancer within a family, anxiety, life transitions, and childhood adversity.
My approach is strengths-based (what can we build on) and narrative (share your story), as well as psychodynamic, when connecting past and present. I use cognitive behavioral therapy (challenging and replacing unhelpful thought patterns), mindfulness (being present in the moment, breaking down challenges and goals) & expressive arts like writing/journaling.
I strive to help clients process life experiences, feelings and thoughts and learn effective, lifelong coping skills. Everyone has a story, and I am ready to learn yours. Together we will work through the stress and obstacles that come your way so you can live your best life!
