I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Alcohol & Drug Counselor treating individuals experiencing mental health and substance use problems in Connecticut since 2003. I am also a board certified telemental health provider.
I incorporate acceptance & commitment therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy into my practice in order to notice thoughts, feelings, and behavioral patterns. By gaining awareness of these patterns, individuals can work to change them. My practice has evolved to accept and honor the various paths that people choose in their recovery journey.
If you are experiencing feelings of ambivalence regarding your substance use, difficulties achieving long term sobriety, or emotional health concerns, I can provide a supportive and non-judgmental space for you to work through them. Issues that I treat are substance use disorders as well as anxiety & depression, bipolar disorders, and life transitions.
