I know from my own experiences as well as a career dedicated to helping children, adults, and families, that often putting yourself first and asking for some help can bring up feelings of guilt, shame, and fear to name a few. I incorporate a variety of evidenced-based techniques into practice, however, I find that the most important component of healing and growth results from the secure and safe relationship between therapist and client. I work with those who have experienced trauma, depression, anxiety, and anyone interested in becoming more mindful and self aware.
